Tony Bond is a Christchurch based artist who lives in Corsair Bay on Banks Peninsula.

He has had several solo shows including, Clutch at Bath Street Gallery, Auckland, Nudge at the National, Christchurch, Squeeze at the Christchurch Art Gallery, Sanctum at Lopdell House Gallery, Auckland, Push at the Centre of Contemporary Art, Christchurch. Bond has participated in numerous selected group exhibitions including most recently Burster Flipper… at Artbox curated by the Christchurch Art Gallery, and headland Sculpture on the Gulf in 2009 and 2007.

His work has brought him several awards, and is represented in private and public collections including Te Papa Tongarewa, Christchurch Art Gallery, Auckland Museum, Wallace Trust Collection, Canterbury Museum, Waikato Museum, NZ High Commission – Rarotonga and various tertiary institutions.
