A Midsummer Night’s Dream plays in the beautiful Rangihoua Estate (1 Gordons Rd) March 9-13, 7-9.30pm. Entry by donation. Highlight of the season is the final dawn performance at 5am. A family favourite from the Bard Love is in the air on the brink of Theseus and Hippolyta’s wedding day. Hermia loves Lysander but Dad wants her to marry Demetrius. Helena, Hermia’s BFF is mad for Demetrius but he’s made up his mind… or has he? Oberon and Titania, King and Queen of the fairies, are at each other's throats (again). Then things go awry in the woods near Athens, fairy mischief abounds and Puck is at the centre of it all! This is a real taste of Waiheke community theatre! Join actors from 7-70 and enjoy the hospitality of the food truck folks at Rangihoua Estate. No BYO & vaccine passes essential. COVID restrictions may apply to audience numbers

Her oil on canvas works include blended mediums of clay, wax, marble dust, and gold leaf, and are incorporated on the surfaces of her wine-barrel stave installations. Lewenz has exhibited in galleries in NYC, Italy, and Auckland, and continues to attract international art collectors, her works in private collections in the UK, EU, HK, USA and Australia. Gabriella shares her gallery with a few selected artists, including sculptures on the outdoor marble courtyards and extensive coastal grounds Gabriella renders from Nature, translating the quality and visceral senses of light along the coastal landscape, into her colour, form and texture. Her works have been described as ‘sacred, restorative and beautifully compelling’ and buyers comment on a spiritual essence underlying the artworks. While the forms are abstract, references to Nature’s changing ocean, sky, and daily colours that alternate between brilliant and muted against the forms of the land, serve as Gabriella’s inspiration. For a unique art experience in an environment inspired by Gabriella’s birthplace in Greece, call for an appointment to visit. 027 4 539 369 "
