Batch Winery

Located on one of the highest points on Waiheke Island, Batch Winery is an unforgettable site with 360-degree panoramic views overlooking the Hauraki Gulf, local vineyards, and Whakanewha National Park. Our unique Waiheke Island location boasts exceptional facilities for dining, private events, special occasions or even just enjoyed with a glass of wine with a view. Our Restaurant ethos is simple, we embrace healthy, local ingredients, served in a shared family style dining environment. Our wines are batch-driven and boutique and seek to express the uniqueness of the land and a sense of origin. We put environmental sustainability as a top priority using natural methods in both the vineyard and the winery. Low yield viticultural practices, a unique individual berry selection technology, wild fermentations, French oak, and gravity-fed winery produce wonderful examples of Waiheke wines including Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Flora, and Sparkling wine. Batch Winery is a place to gather and make your special day memories.

Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant / The Archive Bar & Bistro

Mudbrick Vineyard sits on the ridge overlooking the sparkling waters of the Hauraki Gulf and back to Auckland city. It’s a romantic setting whether you are coming for lunch, with the stunning ocean views, or dinner whilst admiring the sun setting into the horizon, offering indoor and outdoor seating. Since its inception in 1992, the original mud brick house and vineyard has developed to include upmarket fine dining, a modern bistro, wine tasting, luxury accommodations and beautiful, manicured potager gardens. Spectacular 360 degree views of Waiheke and the surrounding islands. When Owner, Robyn Jones saw Denis O’Connor’s ‘’The Archive Wine Bar’’ in Sculpture On The Gulf 2015; she fell in love and designed the bistro around this incredible, thought provoking artwork. Each of the posters on the bar represents a different imaginary vineyard on the island – each drawing inspiration from the many real life establishments dotted around Waiheke.
